When Importing Slides into Photoshop via my Nikon Coolscan it would be useful to be able to minimise the scanner window whilst saving my scanned image. I find I have to close the Nikon Scanner software after each scan and then reopen for the next and susequent scans. Any advice would be appreciated.

I think it is because it uses the TWAIN driver. You might be better to use the scanners own software, then import the scanned images into Photoshop afterwards.
