dwdallam, I'm glad to hear you scored a camera. You make a good point about smaller cities. I moved here more or less at gunpoint about nine years ago, dragged by a promising job offer and by my Kentucky-born wife (I grew up in Louisiana but thru years of schooling I've moved all around.) I have found Louisville to be a very liveable place in all respects.

And did I mention that we are the 16th (? 14th) largest US Metro area? I think they merged the city and county just so they could print up all those cool border signs.

Not to get off topic with the Chamber-of-Commerce pitch or anything....

Received a call from the dealer yesterday that the body for me was in I called to verify ??    they said it would be at my door today.  No show so I called again and they said it was a computer glitch  (I did get the extra battery but no body)  I should get it tomorrow. (checked online and it is listed with UPS for delivery tomorrow.  

Now to find something to shoot?

Hard to believe I had to wait six months to get my hands on one.

Maybe they've stopped shipping or delayed while their QC dept has a look at them.

There are a ton of post here and elsewhere on a myriad of problems with the camera.
