No, not yet. I have to buy the machine yet
But… do you own it with the Care Pack or without ?
I hesitate a lot : I found the machine at a very low price,
new.
With Care Pack 4 years, it's a double.

David,

Can you be more specific about the kind of paper?  Are you referring to the actual metal sheets like Booksmart Studio offers?

Ron,

It was a an enquiry I had from a client who saw some examples which I believe were Kodak's Metallic paper and printed on a Fuji Frontier.

Looking at the tech sheet for the paper it is a chemical process only.

I checked BookSmart  Studio and that seems to to be what I was looking for, although not sure if its available in Australia.

They mention that the the printer must have a "direct pass feed" which I don't think the z3100 has when feeding sheets.

Thanks for your help

David,

I think someone recently tried the metal sheets from Booksmart Studios or was about to on the Z3100.  Maybe they'll report experiences.  The paper path from the back of the printer, not the normal sheet feed, is fairly direct.

On their website Booksmart Studios says they're working on profiles for HP.  Maybe they're for the Z.  It wouldn't hurt to contact them.  They're generally extremely helpful.  They post in these forums from time to time.
