IPF 6100 at end of roll?
« on: January 16, 2008, 08:53:56 pm »

What's the deal with printing near the end of a roll? Does it just get wasted? I was printing out a canvas, the end of the roll came around and the printer just bailed as soon as the paper came off of the end of the roll. It was close to finishing the print but it didn't bother to print the edge as it wasn't quite there yet?

Is it standard for the printer to stop printing at the end of a roll? Doesn't seem to make sense. The roll has nothing to do with advancing the paper. Seems like a waste.

Cheers, Joe
