gluing/coating transparency
« on: January 14, 2008, 12:14:32 pm »

i know that or printing direct or lamination onto plexiglass might be the overall best technically, but i am interested still in being able to basically "glue" down transparencies - in a collage application. and then after collaging, i'd like to coat effectively to protect.

as far as gluing - i am thinking possibly water based varnish, or acryllic gloss medium?

does anybody have any other recommendations? i know this is all somewhat esoteric.

here is some info from a site re: applying images to plexi - in this case replacement pin-ball machine parts (think MIT and synergy)

the second link is to a material sold to apply things to smooth surfaces...
