Norman Flash Equipment KAPUT? or NOT?
« on: January 04, 2008, 04:47:56 pm »

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me or else put me in contact with someone who can.

My studio flash equipment, by Norman, which is quite old has finally broken.

I found and sent Norman Enterprises an e-mail, but no response from them.

I have...
1-P4000X Power Pack (pack died during a shoot after a long hiatus)
1-P400XT Power Pack (still works, but for how long?)
2 LH-4000 Flash Heads (modeling light lamps are burned out)

The 2 LH-4000 heads flash, but both have modeling lights that have blown. Not sure if that was because of the power pack or because they were old.

The P400XT Power Pack that I purchased at the same time as the P4000X, is still functioning, but given it's age wouldn't mind having it checked over. I think the electric eye sensor on it might be bad.

Can these items be serviced?

How much would it cost?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks, and so long for now, TOM
