Epson R1800 and roll paper
« on: December 31, 2007, 01:47:42 pm »

Would someone who uses this model (Epson R1800) (or similar) with roll paper please tell me how one cuts the print from the roll?  Does it require you to feed additional paper through so that you can cut it with scissors?  How much paper does one waste in doing so?  I like the idea of roll paper, but since this printer doesn't automatically cut the paper as some of the higher end printers do, I need some input from those that have used it.

R1800 Manual

It is the same as my 2200. You only waste about an inch of paper on each end.
