Tooting my own horn here: two of my photos made the top 10 in their PSA categories in the 2007 Venice International Photo Contest. LL forums don't allow dynamic links to images for some reason, so all I have is that link.

Good thing I can't fit through the door with my ego at the moment, since I might end up quitting my day job

Thanks! I have to admit I was quite surprised that it was the Guggenheim photo which made it. It is one of the most photographed buildings in Spain, so getting recognition for it was a welcome surprise.

Congratulations. Did you attend the reception on the 8th? If so, how was it? I had to miss it due to other commitments.

Sorry for the late reply, moved and changed jobs, was a "bit" busy.

No, didn't go to the reception. They sent me a nice certificate for an honorable mention though

Well... 2nd place didn't get much more. They sent me the certificate and a small glass medallion. But all in all, it was fun to compete.
