No news on the Hy6: Phase interface, but has anyone else heard a rumor about Phase supporting the Rollei 6008?

That would seem to go along with the (almost invisible) Rollei-Metric, that is now available with the P20, P25 and P45 backs.

You've overlooked several multi-page threads on exactly this subject. Did you even bother to look over the last few weeks' threads, or use the search?

That's only standard netiquette on every forum on the internet, as it saves people the hassle and annoyance of answering the exact same question 50 times a day. To learn more about this novel concept, watch Posting And You.

Dude, you are right up there with Ray.

If they want to come here, ask a valid question, with genuine interest, no harm.

Perhaps since the last time this was discussed, there just might actually be new info.

We just had a local full day demo of these cameras, Sinar Hy6 and AFi. So I am all for any new info or experience someone may have. The AFi is quite a camera. Talking about one might help spur info for another since they are all linked, at least more so that other cameras.

What is the big deal, if somebody knows or if it is possible at all, let us help because many of us would love to use the opportunity and the advantage of better lenses, faster shutter, etc.

Perhaps some third party company can do it or else.............

Let's stay positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd say, forums are for asking questions - but to ask *that question, here* one should come dressed in one's best flame-retardant tuxedo

hehehehehe.

Billy obviously hasn't bothered to read the recent multi-page threads (he actually started this one, BTW) where this exact question was endlessly discussed, debated, speculated upon, rehashed, and then discussed and debated some more. And given your reply, you probably have not either. It's highly likely that if there was any new information that it would have been posted already by Thierry or one of the other company reps that frequent here who have reliable and accurate information.

Well, now that is an interesting matter for debate :

- Are reps informed or are thet kept in the dark and fed ... ?
- Would a rep who knows about timing find it useful to publicize it ?

What your problem guys? This is an open forum and people is free to ask whatever they want how many times they want. You're acting like moderator aspirants here...
If you've got no answers the best thing you can do is to move on instead of hijacking threads with your philosophies. Sorry for being rude

my little cent to the "debate" (no, I am not tired about!)

- as far as I am concerned and in relation to this subject at least: yes, I am informed.
- it is much "likely" that the answer to the question on the subject will not change, as far as Jenoptik/Sinar are concerned.

Best regards,
Thierry
