HP printer driver slow to load
« on: December 07, 2007, 03:38:16 pm »

Using a z3100 with a 1.5ghz mac powerbook G4 with 1.5 GB RAM. When I bring up the print dialog box for the printer, it takes a good 15-20 seconds to appear. Every time, regardless of whether the connection is USB or Ethernet.

Just wondering if this is an issue that others are experiencing, or if there's a setting somewhere I should be messing with.

thanks,
Paul

I've noticed this as well with the latest firmware update. I didn't see this problem before.

I've had the same problem since the recent update. More like 10 secs delayed.

Hi,

Has anyone found a solution to this problem? Should I assume that everyone has to wait 10-15 seconds for the z3100 driver to load every time you hit print?

thank you,
