30" Mac Monitor, WACOM tablet, > Traveling Case???

Anybody traveling with 30" Apple Monitor?

I am not sure what would be the most suitable case for transporting by AIR 30" Apple Monitor including Wacom tablet and additional small mac wireless keyboard.

I was advised by Mac dealer to use original packaging, but I can't just use the paper box.....

Help Appreciated!!!

That one looks very nice for sure, so I will buy it anyway for local transportation. However, I think for air-travel perhaps a bit more stronger version.....  only which one?

I use the tenba air case for my 23 inch screen and have checked it in as luggage a stack of times without incident. You might need to add an extra pouch that can be velcroed to the inside for your other bits though the keyboard might fit into the lid pocket.

I was thinking Tenba too. I don't have their Air Cases, but have few of their gear bags. Quality and service are good.

Tenba makes very nice bags too, I don't know if they can make one for 30" Mac but I will give them a call. However, is there any company that makes hard cases for Monitors and does that make sense because of the guys throwing bags at the airports is much fun, especially Monitors  etc.?

Pelican cases are very sturdy.

I will definitely buy one of the other soft bags for local transportation but the link you posted about PELICAN is exactly what I was looking for.

You're welcome. In case you don't know, several venders sell Pelican products for less than the suggested retail price on the Pelican site. Google "Pelican cases" and you'll find many from which to choose.

Good luck.

Tenba do make a 30" case and its weight is a whole lot less than the pelican. The way the tenba works is that surrounds the monitor with an air gap so that any forces from a drop arent transfered onto the monitor. I'm not sure if the pelican does a similar thing but the first time I pack my camera gear in a rolling case I smashed the RZ mirror because i packed the camera body against the corner of the case. can you tell I'm in love with my tenba.
