Hi everyone,
I'm having problems with my photos starting out nicely in Lightroom 1.3 and looking terrible when handed off (using Edit Photo with Adobe Photoshop CS3 - command-e) to CS3. I'm on Mac OS X.5.1 though this problem persists from when I was running OS X.4 Tiger.
Once I set everything the way I want in Develop, I hit Command-E and hand the photo off, but am disappointed when it shows up washed-out, as if a 5% opacity white image was blended on. Both Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom are set to use ProPhoto RGB.
Attached is an example screenshot.
I use ColorEyes Display with a Monaco Optix XR Pro colorimeter. I don't believe this is the source of the problem as I'm looking at the PS and LR photos -- identical TIFF files, on the same Apple Cinema Display monitor. Besides, the working space is ProPhoto RGB.
Anyone have suggestions to remedy the discrepancy between Photoshop and Lightroom?
Or is this in fact normal? Any suggestions appreciated.
