I am an amateur photographer with a whole lot to learn, so I thought I would submit an idea here and get some feedback.
I want to do a project that would archive and exhibit the story of barns in the rural area of South Carolina that are rapidly deteriorating. Growing up in a rural area, tobacco barns in particular are indigenous and very much a part of the local heritage, so I think the project would be neat.
So when I have the time, I am out and about taking shots of barns in the area. I took some of my first pics yesterday and I would like some feedback. It was a gray overcast day, I couldn't manipulate dramatic light, but these 3 photos were my favorite.
Do these pics seem boring to you or it is just me. I worked with the lighting, sharpness, contrast, and cropping.
Camera is a Nikon D50, so im guessing thats why the resolution isn't great
thanks in advance
