SINAR Capture Shop -problems
« on: November 28, 2007, 08:40:41 am »

Help Please - I am unable to export sti files from the new version of Capture Shop.  I have tried having only one file in the session folder and used "Export All", which was suggested as a work around.  I did not have this problem with the previous version.  One a positive note, the LV focus routine in the new version is much easier to work with.

Can anyone help me to resolve the problem that I am have with the current version of CS?

It would help to quote the version number you are using.

Dear Jerry,

that should not be, but to be able to help I need a bit more information, as:

- MAC type
- MAC OS used
- Which exact CS version
- Which SB (I suppose 54H?)
- In which format do you export
- What happens excatly wenn you export?
- Is there an error message?

Thanks to PM me this and best regards,
Thierry

Dear Jerry,

according to our local dealer, whom has been contacted by SBI, it seems that you tried to export to an external drive, right?

Is the problem solved now?

Best regards,
Thierry

Thierry:

Yes, I was trying to export to an external drive.  Chris Franson of Ulsaker Studio, suggested exporting to the DESKTOP, and thereafter copying the file to the external drive.  This works.  I need to have only one file in an session file, so that I can EXPORT ALL successfully.  Not a terrifically elegant solution, but it gets the job done.  Is something in the works to make the software function more like the EXPORT function of the previous version?

Thank you for your consistently excellent follow up and support.

In response to your earlier questions:

SINAR 54 H
SinarCam2
Capture Shop version 5.5.1
MacBook Pro 3 gigs memory - this is used in the camera room, then the files are moved to the color station Mac Pro 8 gigs memory using an external drive - sneaker network.
Photoshop Version CS 3
Mac Operating System Version = Leopard
Dialog on shut down - "Capture Shop unexpectedly terminated"
