It seems the price is $CDN 1.999 for the new 120mm. Weird that there is no mention of this lens on the Mamiya website.
That's the same exact price they list for the "old" 120 lens. Other than the post a few days ago, how do we know there really is a new 120 coming? I'm not saying there's not, but you know how rumors get started, and then get repeated. I do think, however, that having a separate page on Vistek's site, with a D in the name, is suggestive

I'm glad to hear they're bringing back the 150mm 2.8, it was one of my favorites. I'd also like to see a 80mm 1.9 D, preferably with a sturdier build than the current 2.8.

Hi

Here is some updated information. The new 120 D lens will be the same price. It will have a 16 bit cpu instead of the current 4 bit cpu. I got this info from the Australian agent for Mamiya. Also there are two more lenses to come out by Mamiya. The 150 2.8 & the 45-90 zoom. The 120 will be a focal plane shutter. From what I could gather is that there will be some leaf shutter lenses built by a German manufacturer ( name of company to come at a later date). The ZD will be supported by the new Phase One software. And there will be an adapter built for the V series lenses. It looks like Mamiya is updating there lens range for digital.

I've just been told by Vistek that my new Macro "D" lens will be available next week. Stay tuned!

Hi
From what I heard that the new 120 will still be manual focus. With the 16 cpu you can do more with the file afterwards if this makes any sense. The current model has a 4 bit cpu.

Anyone heard if they're updating the 35mm? I can't help but wonder why Mamiya are keeping their customers in the dark about the new lenses when obviously their distributors have been informed.
