Cause it truncated the "X-Rite works to improve communication to you and needs your assistance" subject to " X-Rite works to improve communication to you and needs your ass".

I think the meaning is the same. But something about it feels different.

(I realize that my finding this funny puts me, mentally at least, in jr high. I don't care.)
