Seeing Photographically
« on: November 07, 2007, 04:15:54 pm »

Hi Folks:

While looking for something else I came across the following two articles.  The first is on 'photographing without a camera' - taking the time to look at the scene and decide what you want before making any photographs.  When I first started photography some 40 years ago, I couldn't always afford film, so I'd take the camera and the light meter out and figure out the exposure and composition anyway!

The second article is on developing your own style.  Every person 'sees' differently.  And every view is valid for the person who has it, at least in that moment.

Anyway, for people starting photography these might be of interest...

Mike.
