Leaf Capture 11 works on PC

So I downloaded LC11 from the leaf ftp server today and it's a zip file...when I opened the exe file inside amazingly it installed into my PC.so now I have leaf capture 11 working on my PC, and it's worked tethered so far. I've yet to test extensively but this allows me to forego getting a macbook pro and getting a PC 13 inch laptop with a firewire 800 port additional instead...anyone else tried this?

Are you sure you didnt download the raw converter? As i have LC11 on my desktop and there is no way it will work as it is mac coded

I am aware of the LC10 beta version for Windows which I run myself. I have not found a version 11 for Windows?

If there is I would have expected Leaf to make a big fuss about it since quite a number of people are really eager to be able to use Leaf backs with Windows.

i  talked with leaf america on tuesday about this very issue and was told that the lc11 for windows was still not available and the beta would probably not be available until the end of november or possibly later....which site did you download from?

Hmmm.... the beta version 10 was already pretty usable. Maybe Leaf should put it on its regular download list and ask for feedback in exchange (though they probably get the feedback even if they did not ask for it.)

Maybe you guys should get rid of the UID/PW from the forum?

I have just downloaded it off the server that was above and mine is LC 11.0.1 - 071030 Installer and it isnt installing on windows. I wonder if they have changed the ftp
