Anyone shooting MFDB digital plus film?

Worth the trouble for what, that's the question.

If it's work why not shoot digital right away.
There is no print size a 22MP back will not handle I guess.

There is more dynamic range in the digital backs, color is super acurate when you know what to do.

Film is wonderful for a certain feel, or if you want to shoot for example ISO3200 B&W it's great.

For color I have mixed feelings, I love to play with it, but as mentioned before when it counts I use the leaf.

you have to understand how the film works in terms of contrast before shooting. Most film acts like a file that already has a curve thrown on it.

An excellent point and very well made.

That is, fundamentally, why all of us are seduced by transparencies.

However, you can't remove the 'curve' afterwards.

And that's the real beauty of digital. You get to input the curve afterwards - and as much or as little as you like.

The digital file looks flatter and boring, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
