Lightroom and Apple Leopard

All,
Well for Apple users, there may be a wait to try out all the new Leopard features..  Unless you want to give up some functions in LR.  Discussions on the Adobe forum are pointing to issues with LR and CS3.  Here is the official Adobe PDF on Leopard support.

I just loaded Leopard, so far no problem with LR or CS3.  LR seems to run faster, BTW.

And no problems at all for me. Adobe's statement is that most of the CS3 suite runs fine on Leopard, but the Pro movie stuff will require an update.

Have you tried to go to the Print Module?   That is where most are reporting a hard stop issue..  I know Apple had to put out an update for Aperture, and Adobe is saying in the PDF, that they know they need an update..  I may boot up Leopard on a separate drive just to play and see.

Look for the Leopard headers....

Glad to hear and wish I had more confidence.  If you check out the Photoshop forum, there are descriptions of some of the errors folks are finding.

Yup, print module works for me. I have a suspicion that those who have difficulties have printer driver issues...

Just curious..  What is your Mac configuration, and which method did you install with?  Seems like you are more fortunate than most right now.  There are also some issues with opening of outputed LR images under some circumstances.

15" Macbook Pro 2.16 Ghz Core 2 Duo, 2Gb.

Went from 10.4.10 and LR 1.2, did an Archive and Install (preserve users and network settings).

Printer is an Epson 1290.

My one problem I have now found is that InDesign core dumps on start.

According to the PDF, that one was supposed to be compatible.  You may want to report it to Adobe so they know.

I think I've tricked it down to a corrupt library - at least that's what the core dump is pointing to ; missing symbols at a given address - so I'm going to try a re-install this evening.

Well I got some time to try printing with my MacPro-3800 Leopard and the 10.5 Epson drivers.  If you have this combination, I wouldn't load Leopard.  The print out-put is way off..too light and off colors...Both from LR and CS3...Colorburst 5.5 locks up and won't work.  I will not be upgrading my MacBook and I guess I will use that for printing until these problems are sorted out.

Having said it all works, I've just gone to print something, and now the print module refuses to come up. No idea what's changed.

Here's some info about the problems with Lightroom and Leopard.  Adobe is saying mid-November for an update.
