Warming a photo...which way is best?
« on: October 23, 2007, 05:33:09 pm »

I'm curious to know if there are any benefits to warming-up a photo in Lightroom with the white balance sliders vs. a hue adjustment.

Is one method preferable or less destructive than the other?

Either is fine and neither is more-destructive than the other.

Using WB and/or tint will be "global" in altering a warming or cooling effect. Using Hue, you could change your colors selectivly.

You can also use the Split Tone panel, even if your image is still in color.
