Does a Mamiya 645AF works with a Ixpress 132C

Hello,

I’m in the transition phase to switch from my Fuji GX680 gear to a new system which I need mostly for Portraits shootings.

I would like to stay with my Ixpress 132c and use as camera a Mamiya 645AF or AFD / AFD II. Based on the Hasselblad brochure all 3 models works with the Ixpress digital back. But I can not  figure out ,the difference.

Does somebody can explain it. .

Your 132C will work on your Mamiya 645 AFD. You will need to purchase the correct I-Adpator. You might be able to find a used one for around $450. By the way, I have a spare ImageBank, if your're interested let me know.

Hi, I rescue this post from the past.
I have a Mamiya 645AF and a Imacon iXpress, the back work Ok because I do a test shooting whit cable sync and it works, but when I put the back in the camera there is no way to shoot the camera, the iXpress have the Mamiya 645 Plate, I´m not shure if there is more than one kind of plate, the camera is not mine, I´m thinking to buy the back to change the plate for a Hasselblad one and use the Multishoot feature, but before to buy I´ll like to be shure the back is in good condition.

Now the question:  
Is the any position to put in the camera to make it work??, The Mamiya 645AF when you remove the fill holder did not shoot, and that happen when I put the iXpress on it, simply NOT SHOOT

The Back is the C 384

Ixpress adapters were made for the Mamiya 645Pro and 645AF/AFD. I think the AF needed some kind of upgrade to convert it to AFD. I don't have a Mamiya, so can't help you about the camera itself.

That is correct the 1st generation AF does not work with digital backs. At the time MAC provided an upgrade service, not sure if this is still available. I would guess not and an AFD is cheap enough to buy used.

Thanks, I can now resolve the quiz.
I change the camera and that is que answer, whit the AF not work, now I try a 645AFD and all work PERFECT.

Hi Eddy, good to hear from you, I´m not shure if the adapter plate work whit the ADFII, I never try it...
But It seens that must work...
