If all you're doing is calculations and measurements with a numeric final output as opposed to an image, that would be analysis. If you're output is an image, calling it processing or editing would be acceptable, there is no rigidly defined distinction between the two. "Processing" is more often used when the steps are mostly automated, and "editing" is used to describe the process of choosing which images to work with and which to discard as well what happens to an image file between opening and saving, but in most cases, if you open an image file, do stuff to it, and save it, you could call what you did "processing" or "editing" with equal validity.
