Import from Memory Card

The "Import from device" feature is permantly greyed out since I did the latest update for lightroom the programme does not appear to be detecting the card reader even though the appropreate box is ticked in import preferances,any ideas anyone?

Nope, unfortunately. They may have mentioned a loose time frame in the original thread at the Adobe forums but last I was there the search function was not working.
