"PIN Code" for Valeo Bluetooth connection ?
« on: September 29, 2007, 08:30:55 am »

I´m trying to establish a Bluetooth connection between my valeo and my IPaq for the first time. I´m asked about the current PIN code and the new PIN code. I have absolutely no idea what to fill in here (neither for the old nor for the new one). Can someone help me? BTW: Serial connection already works.
Thanks all,

Bernd

1234 is the default. You can change it to another 4 digits PIN afterwards.

Doesn`t work. I get: "invalid pin code"

Maybe the pre owner changed it. Can I reset to factory presets somehow?

Re-install the DP-67 software. The installer should be on the SD card and also inside Prgrammes>File Explorer>iPaq File Store.
This will reset everything for you.

Thanks for working on sundays!

I bought the Ipaq separately from the valeo and installed the DP67 software from a CF card as I don´t have an SD card. Same procedure?

Works !

It´s amazing because it´s much faster than with the serial connection. The picture pops up almost imediately.
