I'll toss a few out there

This is an image taken in Washington DC around the Tidal Basin.  Each April when the cherry blossoms come out, this place is a photographic shmorgasborg.  I tried to do something a little bit different.  ...and...no, the image isn't upside down.

This shot was taken along the C&O Canal outside Washington DC.  It was a hot and hazy, humid August day.  I am quickly forming the opinion that, for the right kind of photography, a hazy, overcast day can work pretty well, even if you are taking midday shots.  What do you think.

I like the balance and perspective on the first one.  The second one doesn't do anything for me - too flat.  Maybe later in the year when the leaves are changing...

Born in D.C. and raised in Northern Va. I know the areas quite well...

Love both images although the Cherry Blommon image IS something different from most renditions...it takes Oriental Silk Screening to a new level especially with the Black with White line Framing...

I saw these images a few hours ago and was drawn back to view them again...

Just wonderful!!!

Thanks for sharing...
