This had happened a couple of times now. I have a Mac Book Pro, OS X 10.4. I have my system sleep timer set for about 15 minutes. I was in the middle of a very large import last night, and yet the system went into a sleep mode. When I reactvated the system, LR was locked up, the import was frozen, and I had to do a forced quit and ultimately a restart. Also, the screen saver timer blanks the screen at about the same time.
I can increase the timer before suspending easily enough, but curious as to why the import function (I had the LR screen active) was not being recognized as system activity. Worse, why was LR frozen when I reactivated the system and did not pick up the import where it last was? Any thoughts?
