Profile proofs and duff prints
« on: September 14, 2007, 02:00:41 pm »

There are only so many times I can go around in circles before I get dizzy and violently ill. So I need help now, prevention better than cure.
My monitor is calibrated and I have just created a paper profile with a colour vision device, in the colorvision software there is an option to print a test print. The print has a gradient bar down the righthand side. On the print it goes from white to magenta grey then green grey, keeping a green tinge all the way to black. This inbalance shows itself in prints to, clouds taking on a magenta cast and the green degrading colour in the rest of the print.
I can't fix it, I have re-created the profile but still the same, soft proof doesn't show it it's only in print, I have checked nozzles etc.
Ideas please.
Epson 2100 on a mac.

Thanks,

Kevin.
