Hi everyone
I remember at oine time Michael recommended an inverter charger to recharge batteries and such from 12v in car. I have not been able to find one with more than one outlet. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

[a href=\"http://www.jcwhitney.com/]http://www.jcwhitney.com/[/url] has a large selection, from portable to permanent multi-outlet ones.

Radio Shack has a very large selection -- a little on the pricy side but available everywhere locally.

Just enter "Inverter" in the search space (quotes not necessary).

We have had excellent service from this model.  So good in fact that we keep one in each of our vehicles.  The only downside (and it's small) is the noise of the cooling fan.

Too late for you, but I like the Samlex America inverters. They put out a pure sine wave, which is considerably easier on whatever you plug into it.  Square wave inverters can actually damage some electronics, and will destroy electric motors, but battery chargers are usually OK. They also have a cooling fan. Expensive, but they're the good ones.

For multiple outputs, just pick up one of those 1 to 3 pigtail adapters they sell at hardware stores. Not the plastic ones meant for plugging into a wall socket, the cabled ones made for adding multiple extension cords to a single outlet extension cord.
