Displaying two separate images
« on: August 28, 2007, 09:12:58 am »

I would like to display two separate images on my screen at the same time using Lightroom.
The reason is that I wish to examine an image taken with one camera and compare
it with an image taken with another camera.

It would be of great help if the images could be shown alongside each other,
i.e. side by side.

I've tried to do this within Lightroom but not having much success at the moment.

Any assistance, gratefully received.

Rob,
You need to use Compare mode... Go into the grid view (press g) and select two photos and then press c. You can also select more than two photos and have them displayed at the same time by pressing n.

You're welcome. The Library modeule in Lightroom is very rich and sometimes not so easy to master.
