Panasonic DMC-L1 No preview

Hi Everyone. Using Lightroom 1.1 on windows... My Panasonic DMC-L1 raw images will not show in the Lightroom Preview window during the import process. The files show up fine once they have been imported and I can work with them as normal. Ok, work is subjective, shall we say massacre them? Raw files from my Oly E-1 preview fine. Is there something I am missing?

I'm not certain, but if I had to guess, then it would be that Lightroom doesn't read the embedded L1 RAW preview thumbnail correctly - maybe Panasonic implemented some subtle difference in the RAW file ?
However once it gets to process the data, it uses the Olympus E330 parameters and I know that works ok.

I guess you need to ask someone with an L1 to be sure. Post over on the Oly DPR forum maybe. Quite a few people using LR
