Im curious if anyone knows if the 40d's new autofocus will be capable of focusing with a lens slower than 5.6...such as a 100-400 4.5/5.6 with a 1.4x teleconverter. My rebel xt will "attempt" to focus this combo if you fool it by taping the pins, but it definitly doesn't do a good job.
Also, whats the difference between canon's CRW files and nikons NEF files. The d200 has a buffer that can process 37 large fine jpegs or 22 raw files (about 60% as many) and the 30d can shoot 30 or 11 (about 36% as many)? Is there an inherent difference in the file types?
Regardless, cant wait for it to be available, ive been waiting for this puppy forever and cant wait to trade in my xt!
