I tried to play a small (25 Canon CR2 files) slideshow on a 30" Cinema Display but the screen remains blank. Music is playing and the "repeat" indicator appears at the end of the slideshow. Playing "in-window" is working OK and exporting is also fine.
I had a look at error messages in the console and found that LR puts a message every time a new photo is - supposed to be - displayed:
....
2007-08-15 14:15:40.936 Adobe Lightroom[321] *** <QCGLCIImage = 0x1C382A70 | type = CIImage | dimensions = 2560x1600 | buffer = 0x0000-0x0000 | target = GL_TEXTURE_RECTANGLE_EXT | ID = 0>: Image dimensions (2560x1600) are bigger than max texture size (2048x2048)
2007-08-15 14:15:40.937 Adobe Lightroom[321] *** <QCGLCIImage = 0x1A131630 | type = CIImage | dimensions = 2560x1600 | buffer = 0x0000-0x0000 | target = GL_TEXTURE_RECTANGLE_EXT | ID = 0>: Image dimensions (2560x1600) are bigger than max texture size (2048x2048)
....
So it looks like 2048 is the maximum size (Cinema Display is 2560x1600).
Am I the only one affected?
By the way, reducing the display resolution to 2048x1536 fixes the issue.
The Mac I used is running Mac OS X 10.4.10 (8R218), Dual G5 2.0GHz, 2.5GB of RAM, more than 150GB of free HD space, ATI X800XT (256MB) video card. Lightroom is v 1.1.
