I’m looking for a new screen to replace my still functioning 17 inch CRT.
I’m seriously thinking of buying the Samsung SyncMaster 215TW (21 inch widescreen) with true 8-bit S-PVA panel. It’s used for professional photo-editing and an occasionally movie/game. It got good marks on the forums. I know there are better displays for triple the price from Eizo, but I can’t afford it right now.
Another option is to wait sometime longer and continue on my 17-inch CRT.
My question: does anyone use this screen and have it calibrated/profiled with a colorimeter? If so, please can I have the profile? I want to compare the color gamut of this screen with my own CRT.
