Will be here tommorow. Looking forward to it - my first foray into A3 printing.

Anyone here using one and got any tips / advice?

Well made my first prints tonight on the 9500 and absolutely blown away by its B&W's.

Havent printed any color as yet - tommorow hopefully if I get time.

Have used Canons easy photo print pro plug-in on Canon Super High Gloss Photo Paper Pro PR101 and very happy with the results so far.

Easy Photo Print Pro is a joy to use - and the ability to print RAW files is nice to have.

Hopefully more good things to come after more play time.

Mine was delivered today.

Couldn't beat the price at this point.  I was about to pull the trigger on a 2400 with CIS and went with the Canon instead.

It is sitting in my office looking like some monument to the god of plastic and is not yet running.  Hopefully by tonight.

How did you get on Tom?

Ive been really happy with the 9500 to date - Im trying a range of different papers and so far I really like the Ilford Smooth Pearl as a semi-gloss and the Canon Museum Etching paper for a fine art rag 350g. The Canon paper is actually supplied by Hanamule and credited on the box. Very nice art paper.

My only regret.. probably that I didnt spring for the IPF5000 for the ability to print larger than A3.

I am embarrassed to say I mis-read your original post.

I actually bought the ipf5000, not the 9500.

I REALLY like my ipf5000 though.  A wonderful printer.
