How busy would Mesa Arch be at dawn in the first week of May and would the day of the week matter?

Are there any sun angle negatives at that time?

We were there in June last year, mid-week and shared the location with only 2 other photographers (unlike New Year's Day, when there were at least 10 others).

The sun will be rising north of the La Sal mountains by then, but you may need to wait a little for it to clear the spurs of land off Island in the Sky to the northeast. Should still get some good light though, if things are clear. I suspect the best light comes between mid-October and end-February when the sun rises south of the La Sals and will strike the wall underneath Mesa Arch the soonest.
