Hi.
I am a bit confused (like almost everyone with color management questions) on how to choose working color space.
I have a Nikon D80 and am using color mode IIIa on the KenRockwell recommendation. Thats a sRGB camera color space. I am shooting in raw though. And I have a calibrated EIZO Flexscan L767
When I capture and work with the pictures in Lightroom they are getting the prophoto RGB working profile, right? Is there any problems there if I use the sRGB color mode IIIa then? Or is it just the way to go?
Then when I have edited it in Lightroom I want to soft proof it in photoshop with the printer profile the lab provided me with. What are the settings then for the external editor in Lifghtroom export prefs? I usually use TIFF 16-bit but the images get huuuge?
And what color profile is best here? I can choose between sRGB. Prophoto RGB and Adobe RGB?
Then when I want to continue editing in Lightroom and I have made changes to it in Photoshop, maybe filters and stuff, which format is bet to save iut in Photoshop? TIFF 16-bit again or...
