Shooting Teathered wih Jobs - Importing
« on: July 19, 2007, 01:45:20 pm »

Hello Everyone - I'm posting this in this fourm instead of the the Digital Processing forum
because everyone here has or does shoot teathered with their MFB -

When shooting teathered on location is it wise to make a new Session for every subject
matter ie: inside the house, backyard, in driveway etc...  or   is it best to just put all
the files in one big folder & catalog & keyword by subject later.

thanks ~ cole

It is hard to say...It can be quicker to just do a new session for every "photo" or scene.  Makes naming a little quicker.  If I shoot a catalog every outfit is a new session.

Best of luck.

You can add a sub-folder to the session and make several of them for each shot.  If you open up your Capture One software and look under Help menu.  Look under Chapter 4 / Section 3.3.1 Working With Sessions, you will see how to add sub-folders under one session.

By the way - is there a place you recommend to demo a Megavision on a Seed Graphic?

Hey Chris - That works perfect - so in a nutshell I can:
1 - Make a new session
2 - Go ahead & make folders if I want to & name according to the subject or product
3 - Set the corrosponding subject folder to the as the Capture folder
4 - Repeat for each subject or product

Big Thanks again ~ cole
