Hi,
Is there a standard colour setting that I should be using to print? Should I be using Application managed colours? Perceptual? Saturation?
thanks

HP recommends application managed, perceptual rendering (plus black pt. on which I think is default for perceptual). I have found this works best for my work on coated (satin, pearl, gloss) papers. Most people just choose whatever looks best between perceptual and relative.
When printing black and white they recommend printer managed color which I and others have found to be best.
Here is a great article that explains the differences between the 4 rendering intents.
