I sure wish Paolo Valentini had included a photo of the ringflash mounted on his camera.  I have no feeling for the size or weight except what I can glean from the size of the hole for the strobe head.

It is lightweight (0.5Kg), however, there are some disadvantages to using it and I would fully agree with all the comments made in the article.

Does it get much use? Not really, the balancing act on the flash makes it far to unstable for me to feel comfortable using it much. Results are Ok, but I feel much happier using stand mounted flash rather than an unwieldy protuberance to the on camera flash. Perhaps with additional support at the bottom I may consider using it more.
