On the Apla user forum, last week,I came upon a thread that dealt with the possible
integration of the Seitz D3 Digital Scanback with Alpa products and other
large and medium format movement type cameras.
Seems like this eventuality might be the 'holy grail' that large format landscape
photographers have been waiting for as the scanback has a listed iso sensitivity range
of 100-1600 and the ability to capture 300 Mb/sec.
Does anyone with contacts to Alpa have any further information on this subject ?
As a sidebar, does colorcast manifest itself in scan back captures in a similar way as
it does with current fixed digital backs? i.e.,would a colorcast calibration file need to be
performed at the time of image capture?
