LR 1.1 Backup file
« on: July 04, 2007, 01:38:34 am »

I am confused about how to continue to have my library (catalog) backed-up when it is saved. In the previous version, you could choose the location for the back-up - I had mine backed up to a Lacie external drive. But now it seems that when you choose to backup in 1.1, there is no way to choose the location of the backup file- it automatically defaults to the User's pictures folder in OS-X. Am I missing something here?

When the backup runs, it will ask you where to put it.

I ran into the same problem.

You can change the location at your next import, too.

In the import dialogue.

Click the choose button, and create a new path from Lightroom to where the images are stored.

Actually, in 1.1 the reconnection of the library database to moved images works well. Had trouble in 1.0.
