Canon Ipf 5000 at dump prices
« on: June 28, 2007, 04:01:15 pm »

Hello everyone,

Canon iPF 5000 is available at dump prices due to the new 5100 en 6100 being available soon here in Belgium.

The price is so tempting to me, that I am considering to buy oen instead of going for an iPF 5100 or 6100.

It is going at about half the price of an Epson 3800 at this time, and about  1/4 of the sharpest price a little over a month ago

What would you do, your reaction to this.

You have to buy online I am in Bruges, I have three Belgian websites offering IPF5000 incl. Roll holder at prices incl BTW/TVA between 773,18 Euro to 827,02 Euro.

Two off those sites I have been following for months, was waiting for A1 6100, however this price is so tempting I will probably go for this printer, I saw it in action in DEC.2006 at Canon HQ in Brussels. So I know it is very good printer even if a new version will come out.

FYI:

Here in the USA this Canon printer is selling, with a rebate and free shipping. for about $1300 US, or even less, if you catch the sales.

It seems like a deal; is resistance futile?

Any other recommendations?

I'm wondering, why not? (I can't afford the Euro shipping!)
