Using ACR photomerge, can you merge images taken in a square or circle?

Also, after merging, I'm unable to return to ACR to make adjustments.  It keeps kicking me into PS.  What am I doing wrong?

The resulting file of merging is not a raw file. The individual files are converted within ACR and then merged.

You're welcome again!

Now, if you want to merge your photos in a circle, may I suggest a plug-in that would mimic a fish-eye lens?
