Russia could became a first country where Rollei Hy6 will hit the market! Well, at least, they have started accepting orders
 for it already.

According to this site the Rolleiflex Hy6 Body with folding viewfinder hood, magazine 6x4.5/120, HD screen, accu, rapid charger, neckstrap, with lens AF Xenotar 2.8/80 mm PQS will cost 253900 rubles (~9800 USD)

Configuration without lens (Rolleiflex Hy6 Body with folding viewfinder hood, HD screen, accu, rapid charger, neckstrap) will cost 148100 rubles (~5700 USD)

If those are the real prices in US dollars, that's insane!

The camera kit itself will cost almost $10,000? And the only difference between the full kit and the "body only" package is the 80mm PQS lens and a 6x4.5 magazine? Which means these items account for a $4000 difference?

Nah, I just can't believe that's accurate pricing.

To all,

I would like to emphasize that those "Rolleiflex" prices have nothing to do with the prices of the Sinar Hy6.

To get our prices for this camera, I suggest all to contact the Sinar distributor in each country.

Best regards,
Thierry

Dear Thierry,

Would it possible for you to publish at least some of them over here?

Thank you in advance,

I am sorry, but I can't publish prices here: they vary from one country to another, depending on the local circumstances, import taxes, price policies and promotions which might be different, etc ....

Thanks for your understanding.

These prices are pretty much correct and published as list prices in Switzerland.

Finally, some clarity.

Does the bundled back also work with other bodies with the adapter ?

Is there a hoe of getting 800 ISO, or is underexposing by one stop a tolerable option @400?

Edmund,

As usual ANY SB can be adapted to any other common existing MF or view camera body with the corresponding adapter. In other words: the eMotion 75 LV, the eMotion 54 LV as well as the SB 54MC mentioned in the 3 bundles have a dedicated adapter plate fitting the Sinar Hy6, which adapter can be taken away and replaced by any other existing adapter to fit other camera bodies.

ISO settings: different backs have different nominal ISO, e.g. the eMotion 75 has ISO 50 and can be set up to ISO 400 via the menu settings. Underexposing by further 1 or even 2-stops is also possible (Exposure Compensation function).

Best regards,
Thierry
