I've been asked to do some photography for a sales catalog/book. The subject
material of the book is quilts and quilting, so it is a niche market with
limited buyers.
They need a limited number of photographs of staged products--quilts.
It would probably take 1/2 to 3/4 of a day to shoot and process everything.
I've never done anything like this, so....how do I to go about pricing something like this? Per image? Hourly rate? (need
suggestions on what the range is here)
I think this is a small mom and pop business doing the catalog/book. Still
not sure of exactly what it is, but I know that on the first voice contact
they are going to ask for an estimated cost and I wanted to have something
in mind.
Thanks all
T.O.
