Mac OSX and Epson 4000/4800 Presets

Is anyone else out there having problems with the Epson 4000 and 4800 presets with OSX drivers? For some reason the saved presets are not always remembered in the print driver. I have encountered this problem on more than one machine and cannot figure it out. It seems to happen randomly. Help please.

It's a known issue. Epson has claimed in the past it's a bug on Apple's side. While that may in fact be the case, oddly it's only Epson's drivers I've ever run into this with.

The only real solution at present is to get used to choosing the print settings as necessary. Luckily it's not a particularly long process, but it would be nice if the presets system worked.
