Error

I borrowed a friend's older Nikon 80-200 lens, and have used it with my D200. It works sometimes, but on several occasions I get a flashing "EE" on the D200, and it does not work. Any ideas?

Does it have an aperture ring Is it locked at f22 My 70-300 lens needs to be set to f22 or the error message occurs
