Antelope Canyon in Late Feb?
« on: June 03, 2007, 08:31:54 pm »

I'm going to be in Phoenix, AZ in late Feb for a convention. I will have one day free and plan to do some landscape photography.  I know that April and October are the best times to photograph the slot canyons. Can I expect to get some decent shots in late Feb or should I go to Sedona instead?

Thanks,

Ken

Ken, it will be a tough one, it is probably 4 hrs drive, and you need to be there no later than 11am...hardly do able.
'Sedona' ?, How about the Mission in Tuscon, or Sunset crater and the adjoining ruins (cant recall name) north of Flagstaff - or Flagstaff rt 66 etc - or for that matter Grand Canyon
