Arca Swiss B1G
« on: May 24, 2007, 03:41:22 pm »

I just got a Arca Swiss B1G monoball head from my dealer today, and what a [span style=\'font-size:14pt;line-height:100%\']REVELATION[/span]!

I have used several types of Manfrotto and Foba, but the Arca is just miles ahead of all other ballheads I have seen (including those in shops that I have seen but not bought just because they seemed "nearly there".)

Anyways, I'm wondering how much force I can/should use when attatching the head to the tripod. The panoramic screw seems to slip ever so slightly if i don't tighten it really hard. It seems to be able to take any punishment, but is there any reason for me to tighten the ballhead overly much to the tripod, or is just a little enough?

It's a grey day in Norway, but the Arca seems to brighten it a wee small bit

(PS: I know about the RRS 55 ballhead, but chose the Arca because I wanted to    )
